Not a medical device.Your Wyze Scale is not a medical device. Wyze Scale is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease. Wyze Scale results are for reference only. Do not rely on Wyze Scale results for medical treatment of any kind. Consult your doctor before beginning any diet or exercise program. This is particularly important if you are overweight, pregnant, nursing, trying to become pregnant, taking regular medications, or have any existing medical or health conditions. Starting a diet or exercise program without consulting a doctor could result in injury or exacerbation of pre-existing health conditions.

Do not use Wyze Scale if you have a pacemaker or other implanted medical device.Wyze Scale emits an electrical current that could interfere with pacemakers or other implanted medical devices. Use extra caution if you are pregnant.Body composition may differ during pregnancy. This scale is not designed to make accurate measurements for pregnant women. Consult your physician before using the Wyze Scale during pregnancy.

Keep Wyze Scale and all component parts out of reach of children.Wyze Scale is not a toy. Never allow children to play with the scale or any component parts. Some of the component parts are small enough to swallow, which can cause a child to choke and may result in serious personal injury or death.

Keep the batteries out of reach of children.Four AAA batteries power the Wyze Scale. Secure the batteries used for Wyze Scale in a place that children cannot access. If swallowed, batteries can lodge in a child’s throat and cause them to choke or suffer from chemical burns, which can cause serious personal injury or death. If you suspect that a child has swallowed a battery, take that child to the emergency room immediately.

Do not puncture, break, deform, burn, crush, jump on, or drop Wyze Scale.Damaging Wyze Scale or its batteries could cause fire, electric shock, burns, or overheating, which could result in serious personal injury or death. It could also cause other damage to the scale or nearby property. Jumping on the Wyze Scale could cause it to break, which could result in cuts to your feet, electric shock, or other serious personal injury.

Do not get Wyze Scale wet.
Your Wyze Scale is not waterproof. Do not get it wet. Clean only with a damp cloth. If your Wyze Scale gets wet, it could short out the batteries, which may cause electric shock, fire, or smoking, which could result in serious personal injury or death. It could also result in other damage to the scale or nearby property. -
Do not step on Wyze Scale when wet.Verify that the surface of the scale and your feet are dry before use. Using the scale while wet could cause you to slip, which could result in serious personal injury.

Do not use Wyze Scale when the humidity is above 85 percent.Using or storing Wyze Scale in a room with 85 percent humidity or higher could cause the batteries to short out, causing electric shock, overheating, fire, or other damage to Wyze Scale, which could result in serious personal injury. It could also result in other damage to the scale or nearby property. Humidity above 85 percent could also cause condensation to collect on the scale, making it slippery.

Do not use Wyze Scale on tiled, uneven, or wet floors.Before using your Wyze Scale, verify that the anti-slip pads are installed on its feet and that it is placed on an even, dry floor. Stepping on the scale when it is missing anti-slip pads or the floor is uneven or wet could cause the scale to tip, slide, or otherwise move out from under you, which could cause a fall and result in serious personal injury.

Do not use abrasive or corrosive liquids or cleaners on Wyze Scale, like antiseptic wipes, chlorine, or concentrated glass cleaner. Using abrasive or corrosive liquids on Wyze Scale cause the scale to crack or break, which could result in cuts, electric shock, or other serious personal injury. It could also result in other damage to the scale or nearby property.

Do not use Wyze Scale when the temperature is over 104°F (or 40°C).Use or storage of Wyze Scale in environments hotter than 104°F (40°C) could cause Wyze Scale to overheat, catch fire, explode, or smoke, which could result in serious personal injury or death. It could also cause other damage to the scale or nearby property.

Do not store Wyze Scale near heat sources or places where heat collects.Wyze Scale should not be stored in direct sunlight, near heat sources (e.g., fireplaces, portable or baseboard heaters), or other areas where heat collects. Ensure that the scale is and stored in cool areas with adequate ventilation. Specifically, the scale should not be stored or used when the temperature is hotter than 104°F (40°C). Allowing the scale or its batteries to become too hot could cause burns, overheating, fire, explosion, electric shock, or smoking, which could result in serious personal injury or death. It could also cause other damage to the scale or nearby property.

If skin contact occurs, immediately wash thoroughly with soap and water.
